IIT-B introduces compulsory wellness programme to boost student wellbeing
IIT Bombay has introduced mandatory Pass-no-Pass wellness workshops for first-year students starting August, aiming to enhance holistic wellbeing amidst rising academic stress. Covering diverse topics, the initiative involves four workshops per semester without exams. Supported by a mentorship program, the move aligns with ongoing efforts to reform educational practices and foster a healthier campus environment, culminating in the National Wellbeing Conclave 2025.
