NCERT study plans assessment of Class 3 students' basic learning abilities

The National Council of Educational Research and Training will conduct the Foundational Learning Study in February-March 2026 to assess Grade 3 students' basic competencies in Delhi. This collaborative initiative aims to enhance reading, writing, and numeracy skills, using diagnostic surveys without grading. Schools are urged to prepare students with sample assessments to improve learning outcomes under the National Education Policy 2020.
