Twenty-six Indian nationals have died serving in the Russian armed forces, with seven reported missing, as disclosed by the government in Parliament. This number surpasses previous reports. Efforts continue to repatriate the deceased and identify those missing. The Indian embassy in Moscow is actively assisting in these matters, highlighting ongoing recruitment concerns despite claims of halted recruitment.
