65-year-old Indian pilgrim dies of heart attack at Nankana Sahib in Pakistan
A 65-year-old Indian Sikh pilgrim, Jokindar Singh, who came to Lahore via the Wagah Border to attend 'Vaisakhi Mela' festivities, has died of a heart attack. Singh had complained of chest pain and was rushed to a nearby hospital where he died on arrival. The remaining Sikh pilgrims have left for Gurdwara Panja Sahib in Hasanabdal for the main festival to be held on Friday at Gurdwara Panja Sahib. Indian Sikh devotees visit Pakistan on pilgrimage throughout the year to mark various religious festivals.
