Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has requested ₹200 crore from the central government for an Integrated Coconut Development and Market Strengthening Programme to stabilize prices and boost farmers’ incomes in the state’s coconut belt. Naidu highlighted the challenges faced by coconut growers and proposed modernizing market access, processing, and technology to enhance productivity and create rural jobs.
