Around 42 lakh voters likely to be removed from electoral roll after SIR in Madhya Pradesh

Around 42 lakh voters in Madhya Pradesh may be removed from electoral rolls following the first phase of the Special Intensive Revision process, according to an election official. The deletions stem from findings of deceased, duplicated, or absent voters. The final electoral roll draft is set for publication on December 23, amidst a total of 5.74 crores voters in the state.
