Jan Suraaj Party Chief Prashant Kishore has a setback just a day ahead of Bihar polls

In a surprising move, Sanjay Singh, a candidate from Prashant Kishore's Jan Suraaj Party, defected to the BJP just before Bihar's assembly election polling. He endorsed the NDA candidate and praised Prime Minister Modi and Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. Meanwhile, a Jan Suraaj worker was shot dead during campaigning, leading to the arrest of JD(U) candidate Anant Singh and associates.
