Bihar council seeks security review of registered temples, mutts after recent thefts

The Bihar State Religious Trust Council will meet with temple and mutt officials in January to evaluate security measures following recent thefts, including a robbery at the Thawe temple. The council is also gathering financial data on temples to assess security resources. There are 2,499 registered temples and mutts under the council's oversight.
