The Indian Union cabinet, led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, has approved three bills ahead of the Monsoon session of Parliament. The bills include an amendment to the IIM Act to include the National Institute of Industrial Engineering (NITIE) in Mumbai as the 21st IIM, amendments to the Jan Vishwas Bill to improve ease of living, and amendments to the Mines and Minerals (Development and Regulation) Act. The bills will now be brought to Parliament for passage.
