The Economic Offences Wing (EOW) has charged Dipen Chawda, an associate of businessman Anwar Dhebar, with collecting approximately Rs 20 crore from public servants in a Rs 175-crore rice milling case. Chawda, arrested last month, is a key figure in the investigation, which has implicated several others and revealed significant financial misconduct linked to the Chhattisgarh government.
