CJI Gavai's tenure saw appointments of 11 judges from Backward Classes, 10 from Scheduled Castes

During Chief Justice BR Gavai's six-month tenure, 129 judge appointments were recommended, with 93 approved, including ten from Scheduled Castes and eleven from Other Backward Classes.
