CM Siddaramaiah announces additional grant of over <span class='webrupee'>₹</span>1,033 cr to flood-hit farmers

Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah announced an additional grant of over Rs 1,033 crore for farmers affected by this year's floods, impacting 14.58 lakh hectares and 14.24 lakh farmers. The government is also seeking Rs 1,521.67 crore from the Centre for further relief. Compensation will be disbursed through the Aadhaar Enabled Payment System.
