Cyclone Ditwah has resulted in three fatalities and extensive flooding in Tamil Nadu, affecting 56,000 hectares of farmland. The state has established 38 relief camps, accommodating 2,391 people, amid heavy rains. The India Meteorological Department issued a red alert as the cyclone approaches the coast, raising concerns of intensified rainfall and strong winds.
