Delhi HC asks Tihar authorities to provide proper treatment to separatist leader Yasin Malik

The Delhi High Court has ordered Tihar Jail to provide medical treatment to separatist leader Yasin Malik, serving a life sentence for terrorism. Despite claims of cardiac issues, the court noted he does not appear to have life-threatening ailments. Malik's petition sought treatment at AIIMS, citing previous medical neglect. He was sentenced in May 2022 for offenses under the Unlawful Activities Act.
