The Delhi high court has requested the customs department's response to IndiGo’s petition for a ₹900 crore refund on customs duty for re-imported aircraft engines and parts. The customs department claims the petition is premature without reassessment of the bills. IndiGo contends it has already paid the duty and the customs claim is unconstitutional. The next hearing is set for April 8.
