Delhi Police arrested Pramod Kumar Gupta, 67, the alleged mastermind behind a racket producing spurious medicines and fake cosmetics, including Betnovate-C ointment and Veet creams. His arrest followed earlier detentions of accomplices. A raid revealed significant quantities of counterfeit products and raw materials, raising public health concerns. Gupta previously faced copyright issues in 2006.
