Delhi’s air quality remains ‘very poor’; 148 flights cancelled on New Year’s Eve

Dense fog in Delhi caused significant transportation disruptions on Wednesday, leading to the cancellation of 148 flights and delays for over 550 flights on Tuesday. Visibility dropped to 50 meters, affecting air and train traffic. Additionally, Delhi’s air quality was reported as very poor, with forecasts indicating a deterioration to severe levels until January 1.
