Dhanbad DC directs JRDA for valuation of landed properties of legal holders in fire hazard zone

Dhanbad Deputy Commissioner Aditya Ranjan has ordered the Jharkhand Rehabilitation Development Authority to complete the valuation of land and property for legal title holders in hazardous fire zones within 10 days, aiming for completion by December 30. The assessment follows a 2019 survey identifying 32,064 legal title holders among 140,946 families in affected areas, with urgent relocations planned by December 31 due to safety concerns.
