Election Commission extends SIR schedule by one week

The Election Commission of India has extended the Special Intensive Revision of electoral rolls for 12 States and Union Territories by a week, now concluding on December 11. Claims and objections can be filed until January 15, with final rolls published by February 14. The changes address delays reported during the revision process, ensuring uniformity in execution.
