The Delhi High Court ordered social media intermediaries to remove all content infringing the personality rights of former cricketer Sunil Gavaskar and Andhra Pradesh Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan within seven days. The court directed the intermediaries to treat Gavaskar’s suit as a complaint under IT rules and emphasized prior notification to platforms before seeking court intervention for content removal.
