Indian Navy's warship INS Trikand during rescue operations after a fire broke out on Cameroon-flagged LPG carrier MT Falcon on Saturday, which was sailing southeast of the port of Aden, Yemen.

On October 18, the MV Falcon, carrying liquefied petroleum gas, exploded in the Gulf of Aden, forcing the crew to abandon ship. The Indian Navy's INS Trikand conducted a rescue operation, saving 23 crew members while two were reported missing. Preliminary investigations suggest the blast was accidental, amid rising maritime tensions in the region.
