NUDGE: I-T department to launch campaign asking taxpayers to report foreign assets

The Income Tax department will launch the NUDGE campaign on November 28, 2025, urging taxpayers to declare foreign assets from FY 2024-25 by December 31 to avoid penalties. This follows the identification of high-risk cases through data analysis. Previous campaigns successfully prompted disclosures of significant foreign assets, supporting the goal of enhancing compliance and transparency.
