Thane cyber police have filed a case against a Mumbai man and his associates for a Rs 75.48 crore GST fraud, allegedly committed by misusing a laptop sales professional's credentials. The fraud involved filing fake GST claims using shell companies from November 2024 to April this year. Investigations are ongoing to trace the digital and financial trails.
