The Gujarat High Court has ruled that Muslim marriages can be dissolved through 'Mubaraat', allowing couples to end their marriage via verbal mutual consent without a written agreement. This decision overturns a Rajkot family court's rejection of a couple's petition for dissolution. The High Court emphasized that Shariat does not require a written agreement for 'Mubaraat'.
