The Standing Committee of the National Board for Wildlife is considering allowing state wildlife boards to approve petroleum and crude oil pipelines in protected forests, alongside existing utilities like water and electricity. This proposal aims to streamline approvals while ensuring ecological safeguards. Additionally, a standard operating procedure for cultural institutions in wildlife areas is being developed.
