Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath announced that the Noida International Airport in Jewar will be inaugurated in January 2026, marking the state's fifth international airport. Since 2017, UP has rapidly expanded its aviation infrastructure, now hosting 16 functional airports, including four international ones. The greenfield airport project, developed under a PPP model, covers 1,300 hectares.
