Odisha to provide <span class='webrupee'>₹</span>51,000 marriage assistance to women belonging to poor families

The Odisha government has introduced the 'Mukhyamantri Kanya Bibaha Yojana,' providing Rs 51,000 in marriage assistance to women from poor families. Eligible couples must be permanent residents, with brides aged 18-35 and grooms 21-35. Priority is given to widows and marginalized groups. The scheme runs from 2025 to 2030, ensuring dignified marriages.
