The Goa government has launched a crackdown on nightclubs violating safety and licensing regulations following a deadly fire that killed 25 at Birch by Romeo Lane. Inspections have led to the sealing of two prominent clubs, Goya Club and Cafe CO2 Goa. Investigations continue into the fire and the alleged involvement of the Luthra brothers, who fled to Thailand.
