SC extends time for FSSAI to file report on mandatory labels on packaged foods

Supreme Court grants FSSAI a final 3-month extension to submit recommendations on mandatory front-of-package warning labels for packaged foods, following extensive stakeholder consultations. The expert committee will analyze over 14,000 public comments and propose nutritional labeling guidelines.
