Slave compounds in Myanmar are key hubs for digital arrest frauds targeting Indian nationals, as revealed by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) which filed a charge sheet against 13 suspects. Investigations show masterminds from Cambodia, China, and Hong Kong control extorted money, with Indian citizens coerced into cybercrime operations. The CBI's crackdown is part of Operation Chakra-V against transnational cybercrimes.
