The victim of the 2017 Unnao rape case, along with her mother, met officials of the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) in Delhi on Saturday and submitted a complaint alleging that the investigating officer (IO) colluded with a judge to ensure the accused side wins.

The Supreme Court will hear the CBI's appeal on December 29 against the Delhi High Court's decision to suspend expelled BJP leader Kuldeep Singh Sengar's life sentence in the Unnao rape case. Sengar was convicted in December 2019 but remains in jail for another murder case. The victim and her mother allege misconduct by the investigating officer and plan to seek justice in the Supreme Court.
