TMC MP Kakoli Ghosh Dastidar’s kin called for Bengal SIR hearings, triggers row

Hearings for the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) in West Bengal commenced, amid political tensions after Trinamool Congress lawmaker Kakoli Ghosh Dastidar's family was summoned. Dastidar criticized the BJP's tactics, while state minister Bhattacharya accused the Election Commission of targeting voters. Over three million may face hearings, with discrepancies affecting around 16.3 million. The SIR began on November 4.
