The Trump administration has implemented expanded social media vetting for H-1B and H-4 visa applications to enhance national security, effective Monday. This follows similar checks for student visas announced in June, causing appointment delays in India. Immigration attorneys warn of longer processing times but do not expect qualification for H-1B visas to become significantly harder.
