Wanted criminal shot dead in encounter with STF in UP's Azamgarh

A wanted criminal with a Rs 50,000 bounty was killed in an encounter with the Special Task Force in Azamgarh on Friday. While one accomplice was shot, three others escaped during the incident near Jokhara bridge. The deceased, identified as Wakib, had 44 criminal cases against him. Police have initiated a search for the fleeing suspects.
