Cyclone Ditwah has caused heavy rainfall and severe waterlogging in Tamil Nadu, particularly in Ramanathapuram and Nagapattinam districts, leading to a red alert for North Tamil Nadu and Puducherry. Three fatalities have been reported, and 28 disaster response teams have been deployed. The cyclone, located near the coastline, is expected to continue affecting the region for the next 24 hours.
