PHOTOS: Protests against CAA and NRC at Jantar Mantar, Delhi

As protests against the citizenship law peaked in Delhi, the protesters defied prohibitory orders imposed under Section 144 and came out in large numbers on the street. Protesters started assembling near the Red Fort at the beginning of the day on December 19. With the day progressing, protesters started assembling in central Delhi, specifically Jantar Mantar. Slogans of ‘CAA Se Azaadi and NRC Se Azaadi’ are being raised by the crowd and various protesters were also carrying the national flag.
