Obsessive compulsive Disorder can affect people of any age, but at the age of 8-12 years, it is seen to be more rampant in children. It can also start as early as the age of 4. Therapist Maythal Eshaghian wrote, "Children affected by OCD may not always recognise their condition, and many of them actively conceal their symptoms due to feelings of shame or embarrassment. It’s noteworthy that children with OCD often have a higher likelihood of comorbid conditions such as tic disorders, ADHD, and other anxiety disorders."(Unsplash)
