Liz Truss, who was elected as the next prime minister of Britain on Monday, joined a club of more than a dozen European women who are now serving as either their country's president or prime minister. Succeeding Boris Johnson as the leader of the Conservative Party and prime minister, Truss will be the third woman prime minister of the United Kingdom. Besides Truss, countries across Europe have several women leaders - some making history by being the first woman to hold their respective positions of power.
