PM Narendra Modi arrived in Uttar Pradesh's Ayodhya earlier where he received a warm welcome from chief minister Yogi Adityanath. Modi arrived in the city to inaugurate development projects worth 15,700 crore. PM Modi flagged off two Amrit Bharat trains and six Vande Bharat trains at the redeveloped Ayodhya Dham Station on Saturday. The Amrit Bharat trains introduced are the Darbhanga-Ayodhya-Anand Vihar Terminal Amrit Bharat Express and the Malda Town-Sir M Visvesvaraya Terminus (Bengaluru) Amrit Bharat Express. The Amrit Bharat trains, categorized as superfast passenger trains, incorporate cutting-edge 'push-pull' technology, enhancing both speed and passenger comfort. These trains boast improved amenities such as enhanced seating, spacious luggage racks, LED lighting, CCTV cameras, and a public information system. (PTI)
