AIFF proposes ISL revamp, plans to own and operate league for next 20 seasons
The All India Football Federation (AIFF) proposed a new structure for the Indian Super League (ISL), aiming for AIFF ownership and a promotion-relegation system starting next season. Each club will pay an annual fee of Rs 1 crore, with a central operational budget of Rs 70 crore. The proposal follows failed attempts for club ownership and aims for ISL's February launch.
