Jets release wide receiver Allen Lazard after nearly 3 disappointing seasons

The New York Jets released veteran wide receiver Allen Lazard after nearly three disappointing seasons, as his role diminished significantly this season. Lazard, who signed a four-year, $44 million contract, recorded only 10 catches for 70 yards in 10 games this season. He joined the Jets in 2023 after a successful stint with the Packers, where he had career highs.
