Venkatesh Prabhu Kasthuri Raja also known as Dhanush was born in Madra, Tamil Nadu. He is the son of Kasthuri Raja.He made a successful Bollywood debut with Raanjhanaa in 2013. His The Extraordinary Journey Of The Fakir was premiered at the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne. He made a mark on his fans with his performances in films like Polladhavan, Yaaradi Nee Mohini, Aadukalam and Vadachennai. For Aadukalam, he won Best Actor at the 58th National Film Awards and Vadachennai emerged as the highest-grossing A-rated Tamil film of all time. He is married to Aishwarya Rajinikanth.
