Little girl and 95-year-old neighbour, both have Down syndrome and meet everyday
This video posted by Good News Correspondent on Instagram shows how a little girl and her 95-year-old neighbour, both with Down syndrome meet everyday.
It is not very often that people across generations and with a condition like Down syndrome get to know each other and be friends. In a rare incident, this little girl named Viena and her 95-year-old neighbour - both of whom have Down syndrome, get to see each other pretty much every day. And their interactions are just as sweet as you would have imagined as you can see in this video by Good News Correspondent on Instagram.

“Viena, who has down syndrome, asks to see her 95-year-old neighbour, Teresa every day. Some days we don’t get to see her, but the days that we do, I can only describe as pure magic. The way Viena runs to her, so excited. Hugs her so gently,” reads the first part of the caption that this beautiful video was shared on Instagram with.
It continues, “And the best part about these moments, the way she smiles after their embrace. Viena doesn’t have enough words in her vocabulary to have conversations with Teresa but that's okay. She doesn’t need to. There is an unspoken friendship there that needs no words. A love that exists and grows with each hug. Oh how I am always learning so much about life from this sweet girl.”
