Peter Greene was found dead at his New York City home on Friday. He was 60.

Peter Greene, 60, was found dead in his Lower East Side apartment, lying face down with visible facial injuries and blood, as Christmas music played for over 24 hours. A handwritten note referencing an Irish gang was found on his door. While police do not suspect foul play, the cause of death remains unknown. Greene had a scheduled surgery for a benign tumor.
