Sanjay Leela Bhansali-directed film, Gangubai Kathiawadi, featuring Alia Bhatt in the main lead has landed into legal trouble ahead of its release of Feb 25. Maharashtra MLA who is a resident of Kamathipura area of South Mumbai along with another resident have filed urgent pleas in Bombay High Court seeking removal of the name of Kamathipura area from the movie. They have said in their pleas that the use of Kamathipura in the movie is shown in a bad light and will impact the reputation of the residents of the area.
