Vladimir Putin has finally weighed in on the Steve Witkoff leak scandal—and instead of outrage, he offered a taunt. Brushing off questions about who recorded the Kremlin backchannel, Putin sneered that “those who are eavesdropping should track their own affairs better,” adding that even spies should “do that with skill.” Then he pointedly praised Witkoff as “a person of culture” who understands “mutual respect.”
