Full speech: PM Modi's Diwali on board INS Vikrant - veiled BrahMos missile jibe at Pakistan?

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi celebrated Diwali 2025 with Navy officers and sailors onboard INS Vikrant off the coast of Goa. Modi’s visit symbolised solidarity with India’s armed forces who safeguard the nation even during festivals. The Prime Minister lauded the Navy’s role in protecting India’s maritime borders, highlighted the country’s self-reliance in defence manufacturing, and extended Diwali greetings to the entire nation. Modi’s message from INS Vikrant underscored India’s growing naval power and spirit of service.
