ISRO: ‘Baby Rocket’ Launch Marks Latest Milestone For India’s Space Sector, Here’s Why It Matters

ISRO successfully launched an earth observation satellite aboard a 'mini rocket' SSLV-D3. This was the third developmental flight of a small satellite launch vehicle or SSLV. It also marks the culmination of the SSLV developmental phase & it can now be produced for commercial missions.
