Indian External Affairs Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar and Bahrain’s Foreign Minister Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani co-chaired the 5th India–Bahrain High Joint Commission Meeting in New Delhi, reaffirming strong bilateral ties rooted in centuries of trade and friendship. Jaishankar congratulated Bahrain for hosting the 21st Manama Dialogue and taking over the GCC Presidency, highlighting cooperation in defence, trade, fintech, and space. Both sides endorsed the Gaza peace plan and called for regional stability through dialogue and coexistence. Al Zayani reiterated Bahrain’s commitment to strengthening ties and advancing peace during its upcoming term on the UN Security Council.
