‘Sorry’: Shweta Tiwari apologises after derogatory remark on God; Case filed

• MP police on Thursday registered a case against television actor Shweta Tiwari for allegedly hurting religious sentiments for referring to God while speaking about her innerwear. MP home minister Narottam Mishra had directed the Bhopal commissioner to investigate her remark and submit a report. Tiwari stoked controversy when she made the comment at the promotion of her web series, Show Stopper, in Bhopal and the actor has now issued an apology for her controversial statement on God.
